Time flies. The more you have behind you, the faster it seems to go. If you think about it, when you were 4 going on 5, it took forever for that next birthday to roll around. When it came, fully 20% of your life just went by and it seemed like an eternity.
When your 20 and you looked back at 16, it seemed a long time ago.
I imagine at 50, looking back to 40 will seem like just the other day...
At 70, it will probably seem like only yesterday we were old enough to have a drink.
Be thankful for each and every day. There are a lot of folks out there that don't have it as good as you, but still have a great outlook on life.
Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift,
That's why we call it "The Present".
