Master Cleanse Day 3

That quart of salt water and I are staring at each other this morning. That is just plain nasty. Now it's starting to remind me of an ocean wave smashing into my face unexpectedly and swallowing a ton of water. Plugging my nose doesn't help. Bleah! OK, on the upside I'm down to 257 pounds. So if I "started" this cleanse on Monday morning, then by Wednesday morning I've finished a full 48 hours. It seems like I remember about 3,500 calories is about a pound of fat. The human body uses about 3,500 calories per day. Roughly of course as different sizes and ages will vary. That means I've dropped 9.5 pounds on the scale. It's hard to believe I would have been able to burn 33,250 calories in 2 days (I 'm not running a marathon or a Tour de France). Most likely that's got to be water weight. Getting to the 3rd day was tough.

The mouth fuzzies are still there. The hunger is still there. I have to do this for 2 weeks. I have to. Yesterday I ended up drinking a gallon and a half of my cayenne lemonade. Maybe I'm getting hungrier. I have to go pick up some more lemons and maple syrup today. Somebody brought Krispy Kreme donuts to the office yesterday. I walked past them several times just to see how many were left. Today I'm supposed to go for a walk at lunch. I've packed a bag of clothes so I can go regardless if my walking buddy goes or not.

The salt water race lasted an hour on Monday, 25 minutes on Tuesday, and only lasted 17 minutes this morning.

I gotta go...
