Consistent Change

Life is consistent in how it changes things. About the time you think you have it figured out, something different comes along and it's time to adapt. Our constant is change.

There also seems to be a natural progression in life. It's more of a general path everyone follows to a degree...varying degrees...but generally its the same for everybody. I suppose this has been called maturity. We come into our own based on what we know, guidance, and hopefully an element of common sense.

Along the way we fight our own battles. We've seen things we don't care to be a part of our lives...but because it's usually intmately familiar...and we are drawn to the familiar...it can be an even more difficult challenge to overcome. We press on.

We do the best we can with what we have. As I age I can better see where I've been and what I would have done different. But more importantly, I focus on the future...see where others before me have had successes, challenges, and even failures...so that I might use their tuition for my own benefit.
